The funeral home posted my brothers’s obituary today. It is so interesting as well as sad to capture the journey from finding my brother and trying to bring him home to Montana to care for him, losing contact when he moved, to finding him again only to be told that he thinks he has no family left and then losing him again, and then finding him again just one day before he passed. Then having all the responsibility to pay his debts and burial fees. I thought the VA paid for all of that for my Dad, but because my brother is out of state in Missouri, trying to bring him to Montana has provided unique challenges.
I am so grateful to all of my friends and family who are praying for us as well as donating to help with Robert‘s expenses. It is a completely different experience than when my mom and dad passed or my sister or even my little brother.
