Working on the road can seem challenging but it can actually be very rewarding and allow you to travel while you get s**t done! ✨

The first thing to keep in mind is a power source and Wifi. While I work in the camper, I use a solar panel and battery pack to keep my laptop and phone charged. A mobile hotspot provides plenty of WiFi connection (granted I have good cell service). On rainy days I will sometimes head to a coffee shop or brewery and work there (great excuse for a mid-day beer!) 🍺

It is important to set a schedule for yourself while working on-the-go, but equally important to stay flexible. I am most productive in the morning, so I set my schedule for 7am-2pm. However, if I am driving and out of service or run out of a charge and have to go plug in my electronics for a bit then I am forced to change my schedule!

Designating a work space is important as well. I purchased a fold out table to work on and when I need to focus I will set it up with my laptop, note pad, speaker, essential oils, water (remember to stay hydrated! 💧) and snacks.

It’s important to fill your work space with motivation. Maybe it’s a fresh clean color or a specific scent infuser. Our clean color is definitely mint and our focus scent is lemon grass. 🍋

Fill your space with inspiration so you can get the job done. Designing a creative space for work can help trigger new ideas and form a better vision.

Having a space to sit down, collect your thoughts and write out an organized task sheet is major. When our work space has crap all over and nothing seems to be in place, our work is affected. Take the time to have an organized space so your work won’t suffer. Frame an inspiring work of art and clean your office. If your chair sucks, get a new one - you won’t regret it and your body will thank you.

Again, space is so important for creatives. Stay away from distracting music or colors that make you nuts, you’ll constantly be pulling away from your work. Take a day and reorganize - create workspaces that inspire focus!

BE AN UP-STANDER – NOT A BYSTANDER! ✌🏽
Someone who witnesses bullying, either in person or online, is a bystander. Bystanders have the potential to make a positive difference in a bullying situation. An up-stander is someone who sees what happens and intervenes, interrupts, or speaks up to stop the bullying.
