🎃 **TRUNK OR TREAT UPDATE: OUR COMMUNITY IS STEPPING UP!** 🎃
Over the last two days, I've been going door to door visiting local businesses throughout St. Marys and Kingsland, looking for people willing to help make Deep Dive Games' Trunk or Treat for Camden House an event worth remembering.
I have to say, the conversations I've had have been incredible. The kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to help that I've encountered are a wonderful reminder of why we're so proud to be part of this community.
Our goal is to create a completely free Halloween celebration for local families while raising money to support Camden House and the important work they do for survivors of domestic violence and their families.
And thanks to some wonderful people, we're already making progress!

Every contribution matters, and we appreciate everyone who has offered their money, time, supplies, or talents to help.
📅 **FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 | 5–9 PM**
📍 **Deep Dive Games – St. Marys | 2603 Osborne Rd.**
We're planning decorated trunks, carnival games, costume contests, a scavenger hunt, and live music from **Full Moon Folk (6–8 PM)**!
We'll also have a sensory-friendly trunk-or-treat period from 5:00–5:30 PM for children who benefit from a quieter, lower-stimulation environment.
🎃 **WE STILL NEED TRUNKS, SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS!**
We have plenty of spaces available for businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who want to decorate a trunk. We're also looking for volunteers, candy donations, prizes, and supplies.
**All donation amounts are recommendations, not requirements.** We understand that budgets are tight right now, and we don't want the request for a donation to prevent anyone from participating. Our priority is putting together a great event for our families and communities.
If you're willing to decorate a trunk and spend your evening helping make Halloween special for local children, that's already a meaningful contribution!
🍬 **CANDY DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!**
To help us safely and efficiently distribute candy to hundreds of children, we're accepting unopened, factory-sealed bags of individually wrapped candy that are within their labeled freshness dates.
All donations will be inspected before distribution, and any candy that doesn't meet these standards will be respectfully declined.
🥧 **WHO WANTS TO TAKE A PIE TO THE FACE FOR A GOOD CAUSE?**
We're planning a charity pie throwing booth where attendees can make a donation, choose a name from our list of willing volunteers, and take their best shot!
We're looking for recognizable faces throughout Camden County: business owners, educators, public servants, community leaders, and anyone else willing to have a little fun at their own expense.
And since I wouldn't ask anyone to do something I wouldn't do myself...
**Braden Spencer, CEO of Deep Dive Games, will be the first name on the list!** 😂🥧
🏆 **We'll also have a special prize for whoever gets pied the most throughout the evening!**
Now, who else is brave enough to join me?
**WANT TO GET INVOLVED?**
