I fix touch screens!
Today I replaced the digitizer in a 2018 Subaru outback.
The digitizer is a touch-sensitive glass layer sitting over the screen that registers your finger presses and tells the stereo what to do. Many manufacturers used the incorrect glue to hold the digitizer to the glass assembly on their radios. When that glue fails, random things start getting selected on the screen while driving. The dealer fix is a new radio costing thousands.
If your screen is starting to look hazy like the image on the bottom, give me a call before your radio starts making touch screen selections by itself.
I also do screens for Subaru, GM, Chrysler and other vehicles as well. If you have a bad touch screen, give me a call and I can give you a quote.
