The shirts establish who they are. The business card leaves something tangible behind.

For The Local Guys Plumbing & Drain Service, we did full-color DTF shirts with their branding on the front and back, along with a reorder of their signature business cards.

Those cards are anything but standard—with thicker stock, rounded corners, colored edges, spot UV gloss and a smooth silk finish. You can see and feel the difference.

Just a few pieces that help this local crew show up looking like themselves.

“We’re going to have all five littles together for the first time!” 🥹

That’s the message Cindy sent when she reached out and asked if I could create these shirts for her.
How could I say no?

We put together these little Cousin Crew shirts for their visit, and honestly, these are the orders that remind me why I love what I do.

Sometimes it’s not about a business or a brand.
Sometimes it’s about being part of a memory. ❤️

Five cousins. One special visit. One set of shirts they'll hopefully look back on someday and remember.

We have a new office mascot. 🐟💙

Meet Blueberry. Our very chill, very curious Betta—and officially the newest member of the Barry Fresh Designs team.

He's currently living his best life, while sharing his tank with three African dwarf frogs as his roommates.

Blueberry is pretty laid-back... unless you get too close to his floating hammock. That’s strictly reserved prime real estate.

He also seems to find the frogs endlessly entertaining, constantly keeping tabs on them like he’s managing studio operations.

Naturally, setting up his tank sent me straight down a rabbit hole learning all about our new aquatic coworkers. A few fun facts:

🐟 Bettas can recognize their owners and can even learn simple tricks.

🐟 They have a special labyrinth organ that allows them to breathe air from the surface.

🐟 Male Bettas build bubble nests when they're ready to reproduce.

🐸 African dwarf frogs are completely aquatic, but they still have lungs and have to swim to the surface to breathe.

🐸 They don't have tongues or true ears. Instead, they use their front feet to help get food into their mouths and a lateral line system to sense movement in the water.

🐸 And apparently, the males sing by making a little humming or buzzing sound. 🎶

So now we have a Betta who thinks he owns the place, three tiny frogs who spend their days floating around, and apparently an aquatic frog choir waiting to happen.

If someone saw your business card, your office door, your name tag, and your signage separately… would they immediately know they all belonged to the same business?

That’s the difference a branding system can make.

When I created the branding for Apex Insurance Group, we weren’t just creating a logo for Alisha. We were creating a visual foundation she could continue building on.

From there, we extended her branding into the pieces she actually uses:

Business cards for networking and client conversations.
A door decal that makes her office easy to recognize.
A name tag that helps clients immediately identify her.
An engraved wood sign that adds another branded touchpoint.

Each piece has a different purpose, but they all feel like Apex. And that consistency matters.

It makes Alisha more recognizable, helps build trust, and means she doesn't have to reinvent the wheel every time she needs something new.

Good branding gives you a foundation. A good branding system gives you somewhere to go from there. That’s what we wanted to create for Alisha—a brand that works on its own, but also works together across all the places her business shows up.

Ever Had That "Who Are You and Why Are You on My Lawn?" Moment?
We’ve all seen it: a crew member steps onto a jobsite, a customer's porch, or a commercial property, and the owner hits them with the look. You know the one—squinted eyes, folded arms, and that unmistakable tension as they try to figure out who just walked onto their property.

When that happens, what's the move?

A) Point dramatically at your wrapped truck down the street like a superhero revealing their identity.

B) Hand them a business card and quietly pray they don't think you're trespassing.

C) Yell "Just Google us!" while slowly backing into the landscaping.

D) Skip the awkwardness entirely and make sure your team is wearing branded gear.

If you picked D, you already know: making your crew instantly recognizable is the easiest way to diffuse the tension before it starts.

It takes about three seconds for someone to look at your team and know exactly who they are and why they’re there:

Coppertop Coffee recently opened the doors to their new coffee shop after building their business on the go—and we got to help with a few of the details that brought their new space together.

We created the menu sign, a decal that they turned into a custom wood sign, and another decal that they used as a stencil to frost their front door, leaving their logo beautifully visible through the glass.

Three different applications. One cohesive brand.

And honestly, that's one of my favorite parts of what we do. We don't always have to make the finished piece ourselves. Sometimes we're creating the right piece to help our customers create their own ideas.

Sometimes a branded polo is more than a polo.

Sunday’s Cleaning Service reached out after we were tagged on Facebook. Their crew has been helping people affected by the fires, but they didn’t have branded gear yet—and when you’re walking onto someone’s property, that can make homeowners understandably hesitant.

They needed something quickly, so we got their crew into some sharp embroidered polos that looked professional and made it clear who they were.

And when Brandon picked them up? He was over the moon. 🥹 He was so excited to finally have nice branded apparel for his team—and honestly, that made our day too.

Because showing up like it matters isn’t just about looking good. It’s about giving your customers confidence in the people showing up at their door.

The easiest way to make your team more approachable? Let people know who they're talking to.

Whether you're greeting customers, working a trade show, attending a networking event, or meeting with clients, a name tag makes introductions easier and creates a more personal experience.

At networking events, it's often the first thing people notice. They see your name, your company, and your logo—all before you say a word. It gives people an easy reason to start a conversation and makes it much easier to remember who they met afterward.
