A great visit to WavExperts at Nokia’s facility in Vimercate, Italy, where Jack Samet, VP of Network Infrastructure Solutions at MCA, and Dave Walton, President of Data Solutions at MCA, had the opportunity to connect with Giuseppe Targa and Marco Pasotti.

The team enjoyed learning more about Nokia’s advancements in long-haul microwave technology, including the UBT-I2 XP, and how these solutions can support the mission-critical customers MCA serves.

Also fascinating was Nokia’s use of AI to help identify, resolve and predict network issues, an exciting look at how network management continues to evolve.

Thank you to Giuseppe, Marco and the Nokia team for the time and insights.

Most critical infrastructure networks are a patchwork of different vendors, generations of hardware, and standalone monitoring tools. Trying to get a single, dependable operational picture across all of that is usually a headache.

Through our new partnership with Komodo Systems, MCA customers can bridge those gaps with Komodo Eye®. It pulls data from across multi-vendor networks into one clear view, without asking you to rip and replace the equipment or monitoring setups you already have.

Backed by MCA’s Data Solutions team, we can help you handle the entire rollout, from architecture and integration to on-site field service and ongoing support.

If you are running fiber, telecom, or utility networks across mixed hardware, take a look at what this partnership makes possible: https://hubs.la/Q04yKXTv0

Security technology has evolved quickly, but many organizations still rely on systems that operate independently. During an incident, that can leave security teams tracking down information across multiple platforms when they need to be focused on the response.

MCA partners with Solutions to help organizations integrate these technologies in a way that fits their facilities, operations, and existing infrastructure. MCA’s service and lifecycle support extend beyond deployment, helping customers maintain and adapt their security environment as their needs change.

Most building owners don't want to think much about in-building cellular coverage. The system was installed, and a cellular carrier supported it, so people stayed connected. Recently, that support has changed.

The challenge is that connectivity has become part of the tenant and visitor experience. When coverage deteriorates, it's not only a technical issue; it can affect tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency, and even the property's long-term value.

As wireless carriers evolve their networks and support models, many building owners are discovering they have infrastructure in their buildings that no longer has the carrier involvement it once did. In some cases, ownership is unclear. In others, the system is aging, underperforming, or simply hasn't been evaluated in years.

If you're a building owner or portfolio manager wondering what happens next. David Ryder, MCA's Enterprise Sales Director of In-Building Wireless Solutions, offers his perspective: https://hubs.la/Q04x7Ryc0

Labor Day is a chance to recognize the people whose work keeps businesses, essential services, and communities running.

At MCA, we see that every day. We’re proud to serve customers who operate schools, hospitals, utilities, public safety agencies, and businesses across the country, and to have a team committed to supporting the systems they rely on to stay safe, connected, and ready for anything.

That commitment to service matters every day, including the days when the work doesn’t stop. Today, we’re especially grateful for those who are working or on call, ready to serve their teams, customers, and communities when they’re needed most.

To our MCA team, our customers, and working people everywhere, thank you for the work you do and the difference it makes.

Happy Labor Day from MCA.

MCA will be in Atlanta September 14–16, connecting with customers, partners, and others across the security industry.

We’re looking forward to conversations around what we see every day: how organizations can bring their security, communications, and connectivity systems together instead of managing them as separate pieces.

And with one of the industry’s biggest events happening right in our backyard, we’re especially excited to be there.

Heading to GSX? Let's connect!

Disaster response is often measured by what happens in the moment. The real work starts long before an emergency occurs.

From communications and connectivity to situational awareness and resource coordination, government agencies need systems that can adapt when conditions change rapidly. Planning ahead can make the difference between a coordinated response and unnecessary operational challenges.

Recent disasters have reinforced a simple reality: response capabilities are only as strong as the systems supporting them. As agencies evaluate preparedness efforts, reliable communications, resilient infrastructure, and operational visibility remain foundational to effective response.

How are agencies balancing the need for immediate readiness with the long-term investments required to strengthen resilience?

Disaster response takes more than supplies on a shelf. See how MCA pairs traditional emergency planning with layered communications technology to help agencies respond faster and recover stronger.
