North Texas Cross-Sector Collaboration Meeting Recap

Hosted at Bison Ranch & Retreats | November 3, 2025

What an incredible day of connection, collaboration, and collective impact! Advising Generation Z hosted the inaugural North Texas Regional Cross-Sector Collaboration Meeting at Bison Ranch & Retreats, uniting leaders from education, juvenile justice, workforce development, business, and community organizations to discuss how Texas can prepare for the 2035 generational shift and address the rise of the NEET Generation — youth Not in Education, Employment, or Training.

💡 Special thanks to our Industry Panelists:
Patti North (Owner, Dairy Queen Franchise) · John Tsertos (CEO, EI Williams Industries) · Sabrina Townsend (Chief Human Resources Officer) · Teja Shroff (NTT Data & UTD Professor) · Cassie Jo Adry (Director of Career Services, UNT Health Science Center) · Mickie Smith (AGZ Board Member & Media Executive)

Their insights helped ground our discussions in real-world innovation and workforce realities shaping the next decade.

Throughout the day, participants:

Celebrated North Texas youth practitioners who piloted the AdvisingGENZ Platform and Discipline Reimagined Journey Initiative, now expanding nationally.

Engaged in breakout sessions to launch PATCOI (Pioneers at the Center of Influence) — a quarterly leadership series designed to unite adults from every sector in reducing burnout for youth practitioners and strengthening community collaboration.

Previewed G-Wiz Adventures, a behavioral and workforce exposure hub being developed at Bison Ranch to re-engage Gen Z and Gen Alpha through hands-on, STEAM-based experiences.

This gathering reinforced one shared commitment:
Every sector. Every generation. One mission — securing Texas’s future together.

A heartfelt thank-you to Bison Ranch & Retreats for hosting, to all participating school districts, juvenile justice programs, business partners, and speakers, and to every leader who continues to help us reimagine what’s possible for youth across Texas.

Back-to-School Kickoff New Year. Same Mission. Stronger Impact.

The 2025–2026 school year is here, and AGZ is doing what we love—training, empowering, and equipping youth practitioners across schools, courts, and communities. Through the Discipline Reimagined Journey, we’re helping systems rethink behavior, restore culture, and reimagine what’s possible for our next generation.

📸 We stand behind the educators and leaders like those in this photo—doing the work every single day.
What’s your team doing this year to reimagine impact for youth?
