Superior Information Technologies, LLC. releases updated version of geoCallout. geoCallout is an Add-In Utility for ArcGIS Desktop 10 and 10.1 that produces smart callouts encompassing tabular data, with the custom leader-lines attached to respective map features. You may have data from multiple sources in various formats. You may have data from either brownfields, testing soil and water, security points, survey areas, outfalls, or assets in the field, etc. The challenge is how to nicely depict this data with relevant information to executives or governing authorities. If you can add your data to ArcMap as points, polylines of polygons, then geoCallot will make smart callouts with leader-lines attached to respective map features.

By default, the callout element in ArcGIS only accepts text as its inner content which is a challenge for most of GIS Analysts. To solve this challenge, the developers of geoCallout have extended existing ArcObject classes and interfaces, enabling any content type to behave as callouts. These instances may be simple graphic features, charts, or more complex custom tables, with dual headers for columns and rows.
