For the past few years I have worked in numerous homes throughout East Central Vermont as a Fiber Optic Internet Technician. While completing my installs, I found myself constantly surrounded by many obsolete, outdated or just plain ugly cables. Although Cable Management is nothing new, it is very underserved (Practically non existent) in Vermont. The idea came about while I was in a basement that had over 100 coaxial cables strewn through floor joists, up through heating vents, and directly through window sills... How many were serving the customer? Not one of them.
For the past two decades, technology has rapidly advanced within the telecom and broadband industry. Due to this rapid advance, most homes have many obsolete cables attached to the exterior walls, as well as many throughout the interior. The goal here is to take control of those cables by removing or organizing them. Cable management has a large aesthetic component to it as well, suited for living rooms, home offices, entertainment centers, and bedrooms. I understand working around electricity and removing cables can be very intimidating for most, that's where I come in. Each job will be unique, and I look forward to helping you all to "Take Control of your Cables".
