We were honored to host a team from , including Deputy Mission Director, Grace Lang, Senior Coordinator for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment , Program Office Director, Amanda Boachie and Program Management Specialist, Budget & Gender, Susan Bonney, as they visited the rural community of Akode in Ghana. Akode is one of The Hunger Project communities benefiting from the women's meaningful access project funded by USAID. The project has improved the lives of women and girls by providing access to the internet, which has in turn improved their farming activities, given children access to education, increased economic development and bridged the digital gender divide gap.
