Small Business Security Advisory: Over the past three months our security partner has seen a 400% increase in "Quakbot" attacks on small and medium businesses. This form of attack is used to infiltrate businesses and steal information and then used to deploy a further attack of some kind most commonly ransomware. There are now reports that all major antivirus brands are not currently detecting this form of attack so small businesses only using antivirus are currently vulnerable to this form of attack. These attacks are also usually delivered via email attachment of a ZIP file.

Some quick tips you can do to help:
1. Use a spam filter on your email service
2. Don't open any attachments on you are not expecting

Today was a fun day. Today we finished migrating all our cloud infrastructure to IaC or Infrastructure as code. This allows us to manage all our infrastructure by writing it all as a declarative language. What are the benefits of this well there are a lot including better security, better control of cloud cost, and version control. We will be covering these benefits later this week in a blog post so stay tuned.
