South Central Tower Co, LLC. dba SCT Broadband, is proud to announce its recent acquisition of LiveAir's Network Assets. This includes all fiber and fixed-wireless assets. SCT Broadband has already begun the process of upgrading the existing infrastructure. LiveAir customers will recieve a notification from SCT Broadband about the the Asset purchase and change in billing information. With over 75 years of combined Fiber and RF experience, we are excited to expand not only the network, but the offerings to our customers as well. We are planning for a TV offering to all of our fiber customers within the next few months. We are also planning on a fixed-wireless network overhaul and expansion of our existing fiber footprint. Fayette Electric Cooperative is aware of an outage at LCRA's Schulenburg substation. This outage is affecting those in the Hallettsville, Schulenburg, High Hill, Engle, Freyburg, Swiss Alp, Ammannsville, and Dubina areas. LCRA has a crew in route. We have no other information at this time.

Update- 7:45

Weimar, 2434 and Jones tower service has been restored. If you are still experiencing issues please reboot your router (unplug from wall, wait 30 seconds and plug back in) if your service does not come back up please give us a call tomorrow morning to schedule a possible service call.

We apologize for the interruption. We have techs in route to the tower. Service was restored late yesterday evening but it appears to have gone down again. Thank you for your patience and we will update as soon as we can.

It looks like there are some power outages in and around the Columbus area. Our towers have been effected by this. Our team is working diligently to resolve the issue.

4:20 PM UPDATE:
Our technicians have resumed tower work. We are confident the tower will be up shortly!

2:30 PM UPDATE:
With an incoming storm moving through Eagle Lake, our crew had to be grounded due to lightning. Once the weather passes, they will be able to safely access the tower to finishe repairs.

11:20 AM UPDATE:
Our Eagle Lake tower did take a direct lightning strike. We will need to replace equipment. Our ETA for restoration is leaning towards this evening. Please check back here for any further updates.

Due to yesterdays weather, we're currently experiencing a service outage for our Eagle Lake area. Our team is actively working on resolving the issue. We will post back here for any updates.

We desperately needed the rain, but with rain and wind comes downed trees and power lines.

If you are located in our La Grange service area, this post will pertain to you. A tree has fallen on power lines that has knocked out the power, our internet services have been effected by this. The city of La Grange has given us an ETA of sometime this afternoon. They are working diligently to get the power back up and running!
