If Microsoft 365 went down for several hours tomorrow, would your employees know what to do?

Could they reach each other? Access the critical files they need? Contact customers? Tell the difference between a Microsoft outage and an internet problem?

Cloud services are extremely reliable, but they are not immune to outages. A simple continuity plan can keep a temporary technology problem from becoming a full business interruption.

AllSector Technology's new guide covers a one-page Microsoft 365 outage playbook, 10 steps to take during an incident, offline OneDrive/SharePoint access, internet redundancy, alternate communications, and special considerations for New York nonprofits.

When did someone last check the security of your organization's website?

A site can keep working normally while outdated plugins, old administrator accounts, weak passwords, or unmonitored vulnerabilities quietly create risk.

Our new AllSector Technology guide covers 8 website security checks every business and nonprofit should review - including WordPress updates, MFA, backups, web firewalls, forms, domains, DNS, and administrator access.

If you are a Long Island or New York organization, your website should be part of your cybersecurity strategy - not an afterthought.

When was the last time you actually checked whether your backups were working?

Or whether a former employee still has access to Microsoft 365?
Most IT problems don't suddenly appear. There are often warning signs first.

We've created a simple 30-minute monthly IT & cybersecurity checklist covering six things every business and nonprofit should review—from backups and updates to MFA, devices, user accounts, and software licenses.

For Long Island and New York organizations, a little proactive IT maintenance today can help prevent a much bigger problem tomorrow.

🚨 What would you do if ransomware suddenly appeared on your screen?

Unfortunately, ransomware attacks often begin with something as simple as clicking a phishing email, opening a fake attachment, or downloading a malicious file.

Knowing what to do during those first few minutes can make a huge difference in limiting the damage.

🎥 Watch this short video to learn the immediate steps everyone should take if they suspect a ransomware infection.

Remember:
✅ Disconnect your computer from the network.
✅ Don't continue working.
✅ Contact your IT department immediately.
✅ Don't assume it will "go away on its own."

If you ever believe your business may be experiencing a ransomware attack—or even if you're just unsure whether something looks suspicious—don't wait.

The AllSector Technology team is here to help.

The faster you respond, the better the chances of minimizing damage and getting your business back up and running.

Stay safe, stay informed, and feel free to share this video with your coworkers, friends, and family—it may help someone avoid becoming the next victim.
