Next up in our Summer Intern Spotlight series is Ava Nazario from our Accounting Department! 🖤💛

Ava is currently studying Accounting at The University of Southern Mississippi and plans to pursue a career as a CPA-certified accountant after graduation. During her internship, she’s looking forward to gaining real-world accounting experience and learning more about how accounting is applied in everyday business operations.

What interested Ava most about interning at In-Telecom was the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field and learn more about the financial side of business.

So far, her favorite part of the internship has been getting a behind-the-scenes look at all the details that go into a company’s finances that she wasn’t previously aware of.

A few fun facts about Ava:

📣 This upcoming year will be her third year on the USM cheer team
🌿 She enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in outdoor activities
🎶 Recently, her favorite artist has been Megan Moroney, but she enjoys all types of music
🥕 Go-to snack: Veggies with ranch
💙 One word her friends would use to describe her: Compassionate
🐠 Growing up, her dream job was to be a marine biologist
✨ Favorite motto: “Anything worth doing is going to be difficult.”

We’re excited to have Ava on the team this summer and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!

This week, we’re spotlighting Laura Gereighty, our Accounts Payable Specialist on the Accounting team, who has been with In-Telecom for 1 year!

Laura is a die-hard Saints, LSU, and Chicago Cubs fan who’s either cheering on her teams or outside enjoying life when she’s not yelling at the TV. 😄

Fun fact: She’s even walked on top of the Superdome!

When she’s not at work, you can find her enjoying seafood, dreaming of traveling to Australia, and spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters.

Her motto? “You are in control of your own happiness.” (And honestly, she might be onto something.) 😉

We’re grateful to have Laura on our team and appreciate everything she brings to In-Telecom each day!

Next up in our Summer Intern Spotlight series is Anthony Tamborella from our IT/Provisioning Department! 👏

Anthony is currently studying IT at Southeastern and plans to pursue a career working in the IT department for a government contracted company after graduation.

During his internship, Anthony is looking forward to learning more about the different aspects of both the company and the IT field while building skills that will support his certifications and degree.

So far, his favorite part of the internship has been getting to know his coworkers and being part of the team.
