Can the mobile market squeeze in one more contender? Ubuntu is a very flexible and secure OS for the server and desktop platforms. I think that having another "open-source" platform to compete with Android is healthy but will it flourish or die on the vine. If the developers play it just right then I think Ubuntu will have a successful future in the mobile market. What are your thoughts? Can the current cell phone market handle another "open-source" mobile OS?

Just recently cleaned this computer. I had to throw the fan for the CPU away because it was so full of this dirt. There are days when I feel like this heatsink looks.

I think Apple is doing something right by "testing" IOS on portable devices and making them some of the most popular devices in their respective markets. Now they are moving that experience over to the desktop. If the new Mac OS will have Maps and Siri enabled, who will be the first to name their desktop Jarvis?

. Based on Apple's surprise release of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion in February 2012, many are expecting Apple to unveil OS X 10.9 within the next few weeks. Last year, we reported that early builds of ...

I know Apple has made several successful devices and here is another device they are wanting to add to their resume. I do belive that this would be much better than having to pull out your cell phone / tablet just to check the time.

OK so Belkin is going to acquire Linksys from Cisco. Does this mean that the Linksys brand will ride off into the sunset? I really thought that Cisco had a good thing going with Linksys representing their consumer / small business market. I hope that Belkin doesn't take a decent brand like Linksys and trash it. How do you think this will affect the small business / consumer market? Will this allow Belkin a larger share or will it allow other brands to sneak in a steal some of the pie? Your thoughts...

Belkin has just struck a deal to acquire Cisco\'s Home Networking Business Unit, which will bring Linksys\' name, products, technology and employees under

What is the most frustrating thing about technology? I think that the promise of technology making life simpler has not really materialized. The microwave was to cut down cooking time but that meant we could get more things done. So we packed more events, chores and responsibilities into our lives.

The computer was to revolutionize the work day. We were supposed to meet all those deadlines with half a day left over. Well sort of.... However we have crammed more business into the day and now we can't get everything done so we end up taking it home....aaarrgghhh! And so it goes. Tell me you thoughts...

I do not use Outlook.com nor do I use Office 365. These are desktop applications that are redesigned as web applications. I wonder how many people were affected by this little glitch?

Well, happy Friday to you too, Microsoft. It appears that the company is wrapping up the week with an outage: Outlook.com appears to be down, and many
