Crews are trying to locate a main transport fiber break most likely due to wind and pole damage in our Tilsit/Delta substation ring. Repairs can begin this evening as soon as damage is located.

⚠️ OUTAGE UPDATE – BELL CITY AREA ⚠️

Last night’s outage in the Bell City area was caused by gunfire damage to fiber infrastructure. Our crews discovered that fiber lines had been shot, resulting in a service outage for subscribers.

Shooting at or near utility infrastructure is dangerous, reckless, and against the law. Damage to fiber and utility systems can lead to criminal charges, costly repairs, and service disruptions that impact the area.

If you see suspicious activity around utility infrastructure, or have information regarding this damage, please report it. Protecting these systems helps keep the area connected.
