Thank you GlobalWafers for continuing to invest in local students and workforce development with a $10,000 sponsorship of Grayson College's Viking BEST Robotics Hub for the Fall 2026 Byte to Bite season.

The sponsorship will help support students as they put their STEM skills to work through the hands-on BEST Robotics competition. GlobalWafers is also extending the learning beyond the competition by providing participants an opportunity to tour its facility during Game Day activities on November 13–14. The visit will give students firsthand exposure to the semiconductor industry and introduce them to career opportunities available right here in the region.

Last week while attending the Classroom to Commerce: Fueling the Texas Workforce Pipeline conference hosted by Austin College, members of the Texas Lyceum toured GlobalWafers America.
