Brought an old classic back to life!

This board needed some micro surgery after the connecter had been broken off, which resulted in many of the pads being ripped. To restore the connection of each ripped pad a very tiny jumper wire will need to be run, The dark green stuff is a UV curable solder mask that will help to strengthen the jumper wires and stick them to the board so they don't move around.

Replacing a blown component on this circuit board. It's now back in working order.

A couple KitchenAid mixers I repaired. One of them had worn out gears and the other had an issue with the motherboard. They're both back to mixing!

Today on the bench I'm working on replacing a relay on this circuit board from a dehumidifier.

On the bench... This time we're replacing a damaged HDMI port on an Xbox series S. Remember to carefully check your HDMI cable if you notice you have a damaged HDMI port. Chances are high the cable is damaged as well.

This old record player was in pretty good condition apart from a few loose wires, and some tarnished contacts that needed a good cleaning.

On the bench... This electric motor needs a new thermal fuse. They can be tricky to solder because if you get them too hot while soldering the fuse will blow. With the right technique though this motor will be back in service in no time.

One of the things I worked on this past week was a circuit board from a hot tub. The board controls the water pump and heat. It would turn on for just a few seconds then turn off and repeat. Hard to heat up the tub like that. Got it all sorted out and it's ready to heat and pump water once again!
