Lazser Down on the sideline…with former Lansing and Hutchinson Community College standout Malik Benson ran a 4.37 40 at today's NFL Combine, a tie for 8th best in the receiver group, and his 1.55 10-yard split tied for seventh best. The Oregon receiver had a breakout season in 2025 after stints at Florida State and Alabama. He was the #1 rated junior college prospect in the country coming out of Hutch in 2023. He was one of nine Oregon Ducks invited to the combine after catching 43 passes for 719 yards with 6 TDs and returning 9 punts for 161 yards and a score last fall.

Dermontti Dawson (born June 17, 1965) is an American former professional football player who was a center and long snapper in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football with the Kentucky Wildcats. Rod Woodson (born March 10, 1965) is an American former professional football player for 17 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Widely considered one of the greatest cornerbacks of all time, Woodson holds the NFL record for fumble recoveries (32) by a defensive player, and interceptions returned for a touchdown (12). He was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1993. He was an inductee of the Class of 2009 of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on August 8, 2009.
