Thirteen years ago I started a virtual assistant business on the advice of a business panel that loves my skills. Here is what happened between then and now.
2015.
I narrowed my focus exclusively to marketing because that is where my passion lived. The strategy, the logistics, the creativity of it. That same year I began outsourcing virtual assistants to my clients so I could focus on operational support. What I kept finding was that most businesses did not have the backbone or framework for the virtual assistance they thought they needed. My job became helping them build that foundation first.
2020.
I converted to a full-scale marketing company and built out a network of partnerships with website designers, photographers, videographers, content creators, and social media managers. Unless it's just an entrepreneur or small business, I typically run the projects for medium to large businesses and my team delivers the work.
2023.
I went back to school for PMP training to sharpen my marketing operations and strategic planning capabilities.
2025.
I added fractional CMO services because along with asking for ex*****on, my clients started asking for me to have a seat at the table.
2026.
Once the team and I settled on our new brand, we finally chose our new name Strategies Simplified.(Slightly backwards but don't judge) A name that finally fits.
