Good news, bad news Siouxland. Today we have officially packed up our home for a move to West Lafayette, IN. As a result, our light show will be no longer. We want to thank you all for your support over the past 8 years we have had light shows. It was a wonderful hobby, but it’s time to pass on the torch to someone else in Siouxland to share the joy! Who will it be?

Unfortunately, the Greathouse Family Lights will be taking the 2022 season off. There was too much damage to the lights at the end of last year to get them ready for the season. Normally, I would have already put several hundred hours into the lights in preparation for the season.

It has been a crazy hectic year for work and activity with the family. I am also trying to take this fall to spend with our two Senior boys graduating in spring of 2023 (football games, cross country, and travel).

The plan will be to return for Christmas 2023 for a few more years. We wish you all a happy holiday season!!!

Unfortunately there was a hit and run accident tonight. Someone hit our son’s older red pickup about a half a block away from our house. If anyone has any information or may have seen it happen, please private message us.
