Why This Equipment Matters

When imaging equipment goes down, patients wait longer, diagnoses are delayed, and care becomes limited. In some areas, there are no backup facilities nearby.

Repairing CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound machines means doctors can make informed decisions and patients can receive timely treatment again.

Storm damage shut these machines down.

After the storms and flooding, many community clinics across Jamaica were left with diagnostic equipment that no longer works. CT scanners, X-ray units, and ultrasound machines were damaged, flooded, or forced offline.

These machines are not optional. They are critical for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient safety. Without them, clinics are operating at a severe disadvantage.

We are working to restore this equipment as quickly as possible, but we cannot do it alone. Your support helps bring essential healthcare services back to the communities that depend on them.
