This was a really fun shoot of a home in the heart of Seattle. Waited for a sunny day to put the drone in the air and even got some nice shots of the chicken coup I helped transport and install. The chickens are doing really well and they seem happy. Then I brought the gimbal indoors and got all the angles. It was difficult because the only time we could get the shoot in was when the natural light was fading. But we worked it well. The way the interior of the home is painted awakens warm and cozy feelings so it was a very easy project to accomplish and the kitchen is simply beautiful and inviting.

If you are in the market to sell or rent a home, or are looking to improve you room, apartment, or condo renting photos or videos, Renotography will take excellent care of you and help you share the feel you want to share with your customers with images that pop out at you.

Fall is such a beautiful 😍 time of year. I decided to make it a point this time around to get some pics of the cycle of life during the transition when all the beautiful colors emerge.

I snuck down to the Seattle Arboretum and took a walk through the park, getting some much needed fresh air and a good leg stretching. It can sometimes be difficult during these times of COVID pandemic to find safe activities and to be out of the home at the same time. Don’t want to forget what we enjoy about life. Nature has always grounded me.

How do you get shots like these? It takes practice and an eye, but it totally possible for everyone to do.

First, you have to get out there to find the shots. Then you need to pick the right angle that balances subject, light, shadow, and color. If you cannot get to a fresh spot, hide the things you don't want in the shot and make it look like you were somewhere fresh; this is the framing of the shot.

Most phones today come with manual setting for the cameras and that is really what it takes to draw the colors out. You dont have to have a big DSLR, but it helps, for certain. Getting familiar with the f-stop and ISO settings will be very important to getting the shots you want. Just remember that whatever is done to one side of the equation will effect the other side; it's a balancing act and it's trial and error, but this is where your artistic character will really shine.

The next thing is to keep a very steady hand. Sometimes a stand or tripod is useful or necessary, but sometimes they're not feasible, like laying on the shoreline at with the camera just above the lapping waves. My tricks are to get my body into a balanced position so I'm not rocking. But with every breath and heartbeat vibrations occur. A trick I use is to snap my pic at the very moment all the breath leaves my lungs; it gives me a split second of limited vibrations.

Good luck! & Happy Photo Making

Here is a video I shot and produced for my brother, Lion In A Man (LIAM), who is a phenomenal producer up and coming; about to take the scene by storm.

I wanted to show how much of a musician he truly is, so I made sure to get his fingers on the keys in one of the angles. He is also using this Akai Studio that is a very cool to look at and use that he uses to pound out his beats and i had to get that in the shot, too.

This video was filmed and edited as more than merely the average tutorial or behind the scenes video, and done more in the style of a hip-hop video on purpose. That was because I was showing him what is possible with video and because it just made it hella cool and interesting.
