Working from home presents its own challenges. Yes you can sit on your comfy couch, but is your home network secure? Are you compromising your clients information? We can help you devise and implement a security plan.
From Press Release: First and foremost, IT security is everyone’s job. All employees need to be on the cybersecurity team. What employees need to do:
1. Create robust passwords and employ two-factor authentication. Passwords should be hard to guess and kept confidential. It’s also crucial to use different passwords for different accounts.
2. Avoid phishing tactics. Don’t open mail attachments from an untrusted source.
3. Don’t install unauthorized software. Always check with IT first.
4. Using any free or add supported service means you are the product. Similarly, connecting to any public or private WIFI connection enables the network operator and or hackers to position themselves between you and the connection point, gaining access to your information or distributing malware.
5. Be vigilant. Immediately report suspicious activity to your management.
