UNIX Packages Provides pre-compiled open source applications and packages for Sun Solaris, including favorites such as apache, mysql, php, gcc, Mozilla Firefox

UNIX Packages was created in 2011 as a replacement to the Sunfreeware service that had provided open source packages to the Solaris community for over 20 years under sponsorship that ultimately terminated in October 2013. UNIX Packages provides binary downloads via subscription for over 600 opensource packages across all versions of Solaris from 2.5 to 11 and both SPARC and X86.
