We get this question a lot “what’s included in a diagnostic?”
A typical diagnostic includes:

- A full scan of the components in your device
- Basic troubleshooting to help pinpoint the issue at hand
- A quote and ETA for services rendered

Its summertime! That means more pool and lake days!
First, lets state the obvious - don’t take your phone near water 😀
IF YOU MUST, please note that we do not handle water damage cases - in a strict technical sense, we could do so; but it doesn’t end well. Hence, we don’t do so.

Some unofficial advice if your phone experiences light water contact
Powering off your device immediately (do not use or test it in any way!)
Remove your case
Dry the outside
AVOID RICE - it creates dust and starch particles. Avoid sticking or stuffing anything in the charging port, as this can cause a static discharge and make the problem worse
Lay your phone flat in a well ventilated area with a fan
Wait at least 24-48 hours before attempting to charge

REMINDER: Thinking of bringing in your device for service? Save time by making sure Stolen Device Protection is disabled before arriving for service. While it is a great feature, if Stolen Device Protection is enabled when you come in, services will likely be delayed by an hour or more. This is because the feature implements a one hour delay when you are in an unfamiliar location.

To turn off this feature before service, go to Settings / Face ID & Passcode and tap Stolen Device Protection to turn it off. If you are already in an unfamiliar location, you may be prompted to wait an hour.
