Focal aware seizures

In focal aware seizures (FAS), previously called simple partial seizures, the person is conscious (aware and alert) and will usually know that something is happening and will remember the seizure afterwards.

To all the people with epilepsy and loved ones who are struggling right now...

It's okay if your best isn't very much right now. Tough situations make progress hard. Keep working on what you can, and don't worry if it might not seem a lot. Taking one small step a day will still add up over weeks and months.
