g the sales and development of four separate publications. Before that, at the age of 27, Rivas served as General Manager for Gannett Pacific Publications first Hispanic start up in Las Vegas, NV. Rivas has more than 10 years of advertising, marketing and publishing experience. In that time he has won numerous awards, including; “Rookie of the Year”, “Sales Person of the Year”, “40 under 40″ for Nevada and served on a media round table in Washington D.C led by Senator Harry Reid. Rivas, an Arizona native, attended Salpointe Catholic High School and the University of Arizona and is still involved in many alumni functions. Rivas passionately enjoys a variety of sports and activities such as golf, mountain biking, skiing and triathlons.
