Because let’s be honest… most people eventually forget at least one 😅

🚨 How To Spot a Fake Text Message 🚨
Scams are getting more convincing every day — and many are designed to make you panic before you think.
Here are some common red flags to watch for 👀
🚩 “Your account has been locked”
Scammers want urgency so you react quickly without verifying anything.
🚩 Strange links
If the link looks weird, shortened, misspelled, or unrelated to the company… don’t click it.
Example:
❌ amaz0n-security-check.com
❌ appl3verify.net
🚩 Requests for personal information
Banks, Amazon, Apple, and most companies will NOT text, email or even call asking for passwords, Social Security numbers, or payment info.
🚩 “You won a prize!”
If it feels random or too good to be true… it probably is.
🚩 Poor spelling or awkward wording
Many scam texts and emails still contain strange grammar or unusual phrasing.
🚩 Unexpected delivery/payment texts
“Your package is delayed.”
“Toll payment overdue.”
“Click immediately.”
These are extremely common scam tactics right now.
✅ What SHOULD you do instead?
• Don’t click suspicious links
• Don’t reply
• Report / Block the sender
• Delete the message
• Contact the company directly through their official website or phone number
