When covid hit, we thought long-term leasing would be the next move.
It was and it wasn't.
We broke leases. Deferred rent. Convinced others to do the same. Did whatever it took to survive. And when the dust settled, we asked ourselves one question:
Why was this process so broken?
Airbnb had built something magical. A platform where a guest clicks a button, walks in, and everything just works. Seamless.
Long-term? We were scheduling tours manually. Chasing leads by hand. Running operations that felt like they belonged in 2005.
That gap was the genesis for Zuma. We knew that multifamily needed technology purpose-built for their workflows.
