User friendly design is key to higher sales from your website.
Infusing this element of UX Design allows you to design a site that CONVERTS
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s what you need:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Whitespace
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Give everything on your website “room to breathe”🧘🏻‍♀️ 🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Compressed Photos
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you ever gone to a website that took a long time to load? Did you close the window? Ya probably did + we don’t want that on your website.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All photos should be under 500KB.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Clear Introduction
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
State in a clear 1-2 sentences what you do or what your company is. This should be right on the homepage without scrolling needed so it’s seen immediately.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Call to Action
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Under your intro statement, lead them to a way to get started with working with you, joining an email list, or buying your product.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Links Page
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A links page is a must!
Bonus points: you can have all the things you reference in your social media on this page instead of Linktree.

When you are of service, you not only help people but they help you too. This was the case when I was teaching yoga + this biz is the same!

So what did I learn?

Joanna needed to save some time with social media content and copy created for her. What I learned when we connected was she needed guidance on her branding!

So I helped Joanna get clearer with her brand by sharing what worked for my own business.

Working with Joanna made me realize I needed to offer branding information + services because clear branding is a prerequisite for my other services.

A huge bonus was that I love talking about branding, connecting with people, and being creative.

Holy moly, I get to do what I love AND help people 😍 thank you Joanna!

I am so thankful I was able to work with Joanna!!💗 It's been so rewarding watching her gain confidence and working with her helped me design my business! (thanks girl!)
I hope this post can inspire you if you are new in your business. Don't wait to start. If I would have waited, I wouldn't have discovered an

Work with people now. Contact your friends, family, social media friends. And get going. It's okay if you're not 100% sure on what your business is but with practice it will come.

On Sept 11, 2001, my Dad had a business trip to NYC...

One of the most beautiful things about living in New York was seeing how New Yorkers would come together to help a stranger on the subway or street... Be it an elderly person who has lost their balance, someone getting a stroller stuck in the subway door, or someone fainting... I saw many beautiful acts of strangers helping each other.

I can only imagine then, how New Yorkers banned together on Sept 11, 2001.

I was 11 years old and remembered LAX being completely empty. The woman at the check in counter told us my dad's flight has been cancelled and to "turn on the news"... We were very lucky he was with us and hadn't flown to NY the day before.

In LA, it felt like "Who can say where the road goes" by Enya was on repeat on this day... listening to the song still makes me cry.

To everyone who was affected by this tragedy my heart is with you today. May you remember the good qualities of who you lost and may you heal.

To the firefighters, nurses, and good civilians who are quick to help out their fellow New Yorkers: THANK YOU. You have shown me the beauty of humanity and we all love + appreciate you.

There is no right or wrong in art. If you've been nervous to share your work, I see you. When I first started posting art again about a month ago, I wanted to go back and delete my work. The more I looked at profiles of more seasoned illustrators, I caught myself judging my own work. I quickly realized that does NOT align with creativity. If you are going through this, gently push yourself out of your own way and post your creations, the world deserves to see your magic. ⠀⠀
