I say it every year...
The annual SCORE Mentors Women in Business Conference is my favorite day of the year!

The topic this year is Different...Together, the Collective Power of Small Business, which feels important and timely. If you have seen the new Spiderman film and it resonated — this is your day to stop going it alone!

I am very excited by our speakers and workshop leaders this year. All local movers and shakers who will share highly actionable skills we can use to grow our businesses — together.

We are also launching a new program, the Peer Exchange, the sponsorship of which has been taken on by the Santa Fe Small Business Navigator

Panelists & Workshop Leaders:
Victoria Price
Ramona Emerson
Chien Liu
Ellen Petry Leanse
Elizabeth Lee
Niyia M.
Dulce Marti
Pamela Thompson

PS: If you come early you can get a flavor of my new alter ego djFZK during the morning coffee mingle!

Every personal brand we build begins with our client's desire to serve a bigger audience. Our clients come to us with a vision and a belief, a collection of ideas looking for a rhythm.

When Praxis Mental Health approached FZK, they already knew their mission: to center comprehensive patient care within a new psychiatry practice. The melody was there. Our job was to listen closely enough to hear it and put it center stage.

Before the logo, website, or content – we start by listening. We explore your values, ambitions, stories and experiences to find that rhythm that becomes the foundation of the brand.

The Brand Identity becomes the chorus we return to again and again. It anchors all other brand elements.

We build your website so it becomes your stage.

We develop your content to become the song that harmonizes all your unique brand touch points.

This reel captures the FZK journey with Praxis Mental Health, from inspiration to implementation. From the first spark of a vision to a fully realized brand experience, the goal was to bring forward what was already there and turn up the volume.

Press play. This is Praxis Mental Health.

We are VERY passionate about websites! A website in 2006 was the first project that later led to the formation of the Creative Team that is now FZK.

A website is your digital home and we want it to feel as good a fit as your home. For Praxis Mental Health that meant a very unique design that our developer nailed in no easy feat!

We also worked with Taylor to formulate the "Praxis Care Model", a framework that the business is structured around. Not only does it embody her unique approach but also helps her team and patients to navigate their care.

What you can't see, is the AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) embedded into the site. It's our core mission to get our clients known for what they do best and optimizing for relevance in AI recommendations is what we are currently obsessing over.

When we dive into creating a Brand Strategy with our clients we define your values first.

They become the true North for all subsequent decisions. They bring clarity and make all next steps easier. They guide you in what to say "no" to, and what to say a "hell yes!" to.

Your Brand Values are what you stand for, no matter where you show up. They become lived experience internally, with your team, and in the touch points for your audience.

Praxis lives in the mental health space and set out to focus on client-care. The founder's experience not only as a Psychologist but with the addition of a recent certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, puts Taylor into a class of her own.

The mission: to close the gap between therapy and potentially needed medication treatment.

Follow along to see the brand strategy unfold.

Since the early days of the Pandemic we have partnered with multiple mental health providers—think psychologists and psychiatrists—who were ready to go from single provider to building group practices.

Taylor Barragan, LMFT, was one of them.

Every journey begins with a brand strategy unique to our client’s values, vision, and voice, embodying their approach to care.

For Taylor, the first step in bringing that vision to life was creating a name for the new practice. That’s how Praxis Mental Health came to be.

Over the next few days, we’ll share more about the thinking behind the brand, the inspiration for the name, and the journey from a new idea to the growing team Praxis has become today.
