The zombies were ready, but the weather had other plans.

Unfortunately, today's Fall Fest at the Governor's Residence was rained out, but it was still nice to see so many colleagues from across state government this morning. Thanks to everyone who came out.

That email looks perfect. That's the problem.

AI tools help scammers write messages with no typos, the right logos and a convincing tone. Before you click, ask yourself: Did I expect this? Is it pushing me to act fast? Can I verify it another way?

When in doubt, go straight to the source. Type the website address yourself or call a number you already trust.

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana, Nuevo México! 🎉

A senator who opened doors. A suffragist who amplified women's voices. A scientist who planted an industry. An astronaut who reached orbit. An author who became the godfather of Chicano literature.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, DoIT honors Dennis Chávez, Nina Otero-Warren, Fabián García, Sidney Gutierrez, Rudolfo Anaya and all Hispanic Americans who call New Mexico home.

Su legado nos inspira. Their legacy inspires us.

Scammers need just a few seconds of audio to clone someone's voice. They're using it to call families pretending to be a grandchild in trouble or a boss who needs a wire transfer today.

Protect your people: Pick a family code word only you know. If someone calls in a panic asking for money, hang up and call them back on a number you trust.

It's officially Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and this year's threats look a little different. Scammers are now using AI to write flawless phishing emails, clone a loved one's voice, and build fake websites in minutes. The old red flags, like typos and clunky grammar, aren't enough anymore.

All month long, DoIT will share quick, practical steps to protect your accounts, your money and your family. Follow along and share these tips with someone who needs them.

A heightened risk for flash flooding continues statewide today as a surge of monsoonal moisture brings widespread, rain and thunderstorms to New Mexico.

New Mexico first responders are working around the clock to help keep us safe but they need your help.
-If you're told to evacuate, go right away.
-Never walk or drive through flood water. Turn Around, Don't Drown.
-Never drive around barricades.
