At the very beginning of May, 4 members of ACM club took a trip to Santa Cruz to attend Drones, DataX conference. The conference ranged from existing to futuristic projects related to drones. A NASA researcher was even there to discuss on the new innovation called low-altitude airspace operations. Overall, it was a trip to explore, to learn, and last but not least, to enjoy (California beach and authentic Mexican food hehe :D). Here are some of the photos taken by Chenxi Huang. Thanks!

We had an amazing turnout of 25 people at our meeting last Thursday. Tonight, we're having our second meeting where we will commence career/internship month!

This past summer, our treasurer Tom had an amazing opportunity to continue his academic pursuits.

While most college students put their studies on hold when they get a summer job, Illinois Wesleyan University student Tom Simmons was able to continue his academic pursuits and get paid this summer when he became a part of the Eckley Summer Scholar and Artist
