¡Feliz segundo aniversario, Mexico City Center of Energy! 🥂🇲🇽🎉

In just two years, Mexico City has grown into an important hub for LogicMonitor, bringing together teams across Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support, Professional Services, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and more.

That growth is showing up well beyond the office itself. The team is building deeper relationships with customers and partners across the region, developing incredible local talent, and helping strengthen LogicMonitor’s presence in a market that continues to be important to our future.

Just as important is the culture they’ve built along the way. Connected, collaborative, and very much .

Congratulations to everyone who has helped shape our Mexico City CoE over the past two years. We’re proud of what you’ve built, and even more excited for what comes next. 🇲🇽

We're proud to share that LogicMonitor has won the AI & Automation category at the CRN Australia Awards.

This recognition reflects the work happening across our teams to turn the vision for Autonomous IT into something real: technology that helps IT teams understand what’s happening, act with greater confidence, and move faster when it matters.

It also belongs to the customers and partners who keep pushing us forward. Their challenges, feedback, and trust shape what we build and where we go next.

Thank you to CRN and congratulations to everyone across LogicMonitor who helped make this possible.

The final whistle has blown, and the incident management playbook is due for a postgame review. The biggest takeaway? IT environments have changed, but the playbook hasn’t always kept up.

In our latest Postgame Breakdown, we look at where the traditional approach is falling short, what’s changed about the way incidents unfold, and why simply responding faster isn't enough.

On September 30, we're taking the conversation further with LogicMonitor, Forrester, and ANS Group in our webinar, Incident Management Has Outgrown Its Playbook: How IT Leaders Are Adapting for the AI Era.

During an outage, scattered conversations can make a difficult situation harder. Engineers lose time switching between tools and piecing together the context they need.

LogicMonitor Chief AI Officer Karthik Sj spoke with InformationWeek about the impact of communication sprawl:

CIOs now have an almost endless number of ways to communicate with colleagues and teams, which can create issues with cost and cohesion.

Autonomous IT probably won't arrive with a big launch. It'll show up in the small decisions teams gradually trust AI to make: quieting alert noise, spotting root causes, recommending fixes, and handling low-risk actions.

That change depends on trust, governance, and unified operational data. Only 4% of organisations have fully operationalised AI across IT operations, while almost half are still running pilots.

Read Karthik Sj's perspective on why autonomous IT may become part of daily operations before most teams notice:

For the past several years, the AI conversation has been dominated by breakthroughs. Every few months, a new model, capability or prediction promises to transform the...

On this day in 1990, the first Internet search engine went live. It was called Archie, and the problem it solved was pretty simple.

The Internet was growing, files were scattered across servers, and finding what you needed was becoming a job in itself.

Thirty-six years later, that problem feels strangely familiar.

IT teams have more data than anyone could have imagined in 1990: metrics, logs, traces, events, alerts, topology, and user experience data. We've gotten really good at collecting information about what's happening across our environments. But more data doesn't automatically mean more understanding.

The challenge is still finding what matters.

What changed? What’s connected? What actually caused the problem? What should I pay attention to first? And increasingly, what can the system safely do about it?

The next chapter of IT is about making the data we already have useful enough to drive decisions and action.

Archie helped people navigate a growing Internet. Search helped us find information. Observability helped us understand what that information was telling us.

Now we're in the next evolution: technology that can reason across that information, decide what should happen next, and act within the right guardrails.

What’s that evolution called? ➡️ Autonomous IT: https://ow.ly/fXt050ZMcWZ

When something goes wrong, IT teams need answers fast and a clear next move.

Edwin AI helps ITOps teams make sense of complex operations so leaders can move from identifying an issue to taking action with greater confidence. That means less uncertainty for IT leaders and stronger visibility into the systems keeping the business running.

A broken laser pointer sold for $14.83. Nothing remarkable about that, right?

Except it was the first thing ever sold on AuctionWeb, a little website Pierre Omidyar launched 31 years ago today. You probably know it as eBay.

People started showing up. Enough people that Omidyar's ISP eventually made him move from a personal account to a business connection that cost hundreds of dollars a month.

Very 1995.

But the problem behind it hasn't changed all that much. When more people depend on what you've built, the infrastructure supporting their experience has to keep up.

What has changed is how much sits between you and them.

You might own the application. You might own the cloud environment. But your customers still depend on ISPs, DNS, CDNs, APIs, payment services, and a bunch of other infrastructure you have zero control over. And anyone in IT knows how fun that can be when something goes wrong.

Everything you're monitoring can be green while a customer halfway across the country is staring at a page that won't load. If the problem is somewhere between them and you, those green dashboards aren't going to tell you much.

So, thirty-one years after that first $14.83 sale, seeing what's happening inside your own environment still only gets you so far. You've got to monitor the internet like your business depends on it. Because it does.

Even when you're selling a broken laser pointer for $14.83.
