Apparently after my quarterly fire inspection, my business tax receipt was out of date. Mind you I've been in my current building for 7.5 years, in my home for 24 years and had the same email and cell phone number for longer than that. Not one notice since 2020 according to JoAnn Johnson @ 407.688.5057 at the Sanford building department. I have never had an issue with City, State, County ever. I take care of any issue immediately. This City employee was RUDE, laughed at me, and treated me like I was scum. Ms. Johnson has no business working for the City and I will be filing complaints with the Mayor and City Commissioners. I'm a responsible and respected business owner and there is no excuse for her treatment. I only inquired as to how this could happen and how to make sure it didn't happen again.
