Almost a year ago today, we had the two best young ladies working here at Hybrid: Marjorie Whitman and Kayla Ross. One of them is my daughter, Marjorie, and Kayla is like a daughter to me, someone I could try to mentor. They both left us last August 2025, and I didn't want to post anything here for a long time. But this morning, I received my "One Year Ago Today" reminder from Google.

These two processed orders, worked in the warehouse, inventory rooms, created invoices, shipped, cleaned, brought me lunch, received packages, and walked Chico. They did just about anything we needed around here. We almost always went out for coffee at Foxtails in Sanford on the way here, and usually grabbed a bite of something there too. Marji and Kayla were the 1000% best workers I ever had the privilege of working with.

Those were some of the best moments of my life, working alongside my daughter Marjie and my soul daughter Kayla. They helped me with so much and made me feel like a dad and a mentor, which is the greatest gift I could have asked for.

And now, we move forward together through time, in ways that I cannot understand, but I know you're always close by, and you will be my strength. Marji & Kayla, I love you both so much, I am forever grateful for all you did here on earth, and now in Heaven. I'm always holding your hands in my heart. ❤️📦🏭💼📋🔧🛠️📦💗

Free tours and field trips -
A little further down the road, we’re also planning to make our building available for school trips so students can see what a semiconductor distributor looks like on the inside and tour the facility—those tours will be completely free. 🏭✨ After a tour, groups can head into historic downtown Sanford to grab a bite and make a full day of it. 🍔🕰️

Yesterday we had a glimpse of the future after meeting the coolest seniors from Seminole Highschool, and donated some parts for a project they're working on. 🎓💡
