Accelecom, Georgia’s and Kentucky’s largest middle-mile network operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Scott Scheidt as Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer (CIO/CISO).

In this newly combined role, Dr. Scheidt will lead Accelecom’s information technology, operational and business support systems, enterprise security, and emerging AI capabilities as the company continues to scale across the Southeast.
