CDK has recently reported that many customers will not have systems restored to process month end. Our best guess is that the vast majority of impacted customers are weeks out at least. While we cannot help you produce a financial statement before your system comes back up, we can get you selling cars. Advent is launching dozens of dealers each day to get them back to contracting/ econtracting and delivering cars. Call us and we can quickly have your store up and running again.

These last week has been unprecedented. Our hearts go out to all the dealers whose lives and businesses have been impacted. I was talking with my wife last night, (who is not familiar with the car business.) I explained to her how nearly every employee in a car dealership receives the vast majority of their income directly from commissions. Our hearts go out to everyone who lives paycheck to paycheck. We understand.

Starting at 6am PST this past Thursday morning, after the second cyberattack became known, previous customers started calling us asking if we could help. We leapt into action, reviving their archived systems, and updating them with current configurations and electronic documents. Advent’s customer churn is low, which made it easy for us to quickly onboard them again.

We have shifted to helping other dealers who have never been part of the Advent family. We are not opportunists. We are here to help, regardless of whether you continue to do business with us or not...once these issues are resolved.

Since this time, we’ve launched over 120 dealerships and we have many more in-process. We’re all about helping our friends and our industry. We care about anyone who relies on selling cars to earn a living.

Our team is working overtime, right now this week and however long it takes to make sure you keep the lights on, the doors open, and sales running smoothly.

Hang in there. We’ve got this. We’ve got your back.
