SecurePRO is looking for a tech-minded customer service technician to help our walk-in clients with their tech and security concerns and emergencies. At our Laguna Village Shopping Center showroom, we sell and service âEverything Techâ.
JOB DUTIES:
Front-line customer service. Youâll be the smiling face that people see when they walk in the door after theyâve dropped their phone and shattered their screen, or when their computer suddenly wonât power up, or when theyâve heard about a break-in in their neighborhood. Please be positive-minded, empathetic, good at troubleshooting on your feet and interested in helping people.
Answering basic computer and phone questions. We are a local resource for âeverything techâ and often have walk-in customers come to us with questions. Our friendly techs patiently help people of all ages solve their tech problems.
Sales. In our showroom, we sell pre-owned computers, computer accessories, sound systems, security solutions, video systems, smart home devices and more. Be prepared to recommend appropriate tech solutions to walk in and phone customers. Look for and act on upsellingâ and cross-selling opportunities. We provide training on the specific product lines we offer and ask that you bring your sales skill set.
Phone duties. Answer the phone quickly. Provide accurate, fast service. Call customers to provide repair status and let them know when their devices are ready for pickup.
Ability to operate an invoicing system, follow our process for checking in devices and follow other business operations procedures.
GREAT TO HAVE:
Mobile phone, tablet, laptop and desktop computer repair skills â or a willingness to learn
In-depth knowledge of Windows, Android, Mac OSX and iOS systems
Testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computer, phone and tablet hardware issues
Audio video: TV and speaker knowledge
Social media posting skills (weâre on Facebook, Google and Yelp, and looking to expand to LinkedIn and Instagram)
A love of learning - both in the technology field and customer service skills. Our industry moves fast and our team stays on the cutting edge
SKILLS
Strong issue management, strategic planning, relationship-building, problem-solving and oral/written presentation skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Flexible, proactive and able to respond and adapt to a rapid-paced, changing organization.
Highly motivated, driven problem solver with demonstrated ability to work autonomously while adhering to approved plans and strategies.
EDUCATION
High school or equivalent (Required)
