Versonix Brings AI-Powered Innovation to Travel Booking with OpenAI API Integration.
Versonix is excited to announce the development of a cutting-edge integration between the OpenAI API and the Seaware API, revolutionizing travel booking with natural language processing. This new feature will enable travelers to make bookings effortlessly using chat or voice commands, enhancing accessibility and simplifying the reservation process. In some cases, it may even provide a faster and more intuitive alternative to traditional web interfaces.
One of the key advantages of this integration is its seamless deployment, requiring no additional training for customers. Travel companies can instantly benefit from this AI-powered functionality, improving efficiency and enhancing user experience without operational disruptions.
Beyond OpenAI’s capabilities, Versonix is also actively exploring the use of open-source AI models, such as Meta’s Llama, to offer even greater customization and intelligence. By fine-tuning AI models for each Seaware customer, this system will analyze previous booking patterns and business-specific preferences to provide meaningful suggestions and recommendations, further optimizing the booking experience.

Versonix Powers Windstar Cruises' New Online Booking Engine!

MIAMI, FL, November 20, 2024 – Windstar Cruises has announced the launch of its new online booking engine now available on its website. This new advanced online booking capability streamlines the vacation planning process allowing guests and travel advisor partners to easily lock in their cruise date, destination, excursions, and hotels.
Travelers now have the capability to create a MyWindstar account where they can shop for cruises, add on the cruise line's $99 All-Inclusive package, select hotels and available excursions, and finalize bookings—all from the convenience of their own devices.
Online booking was previously only available to travel advisors through TravelAdvisor Hub. The new MyWindstar platform now allows consumers to seamlessly navigate through available itineraries, accommodations, and offerings with detailed descriptions and photos to help guide the planning and booking process. Travelers booking through a travel advisor have online functions to view their itinerary and can add select elements to their reservation such as shore excursions and special requests.
"Windstar Cruises is committed to enhancing the travel experience for our guests from start to finish," shared Windstar’s Chief Commercial Officer Janet Bava. “By expanding our booking options, we’re ensuring that every guest can plan their cruise in the way that’s most convenient for them—whether they prefer the ease of online booking, the connection of working with a trusted travel advisor, or the personalized service from our Vacation Planning team.”
For Black Friday and Cyber Monday (November 18-December 2, 2024), travelers can take advantage of reduced deposits of only $300 per guest to secure their cruise date on top of the line’s popular Pick Your Perk offer. Available for booking now through March 31, 2025, on sailings through June of 2026, "Pick Your Perk" options include: one free hotel night (which can be used pre- or post-cruise) OR up to $1,000 onboard credit, which can be used for Windstar’s award-winning shore excursions and adventures, spa services, or even special celebratory cocktails.
