Ri6 Durian from Vietnam. The Ri6 variety is starting to be one of my favorite given the consistent taste and smell from every one of these that I’ve bought so far. Flavor is definitely spot on with intense durian favor. Malaysia and Thailand aren’t the only ones able to produce incredible durians.

First saffron flower, popped from the ground. Always wanted to grow my own since they’re so expensive to buy. I can’t wait to see how they taste in some rice and soups. Only the stigma is edible btw.

I’ve been growing my own vegetables for a while now, but this year has been one of the most productive years for me. I’ve also ventured into growing a few vegetables I’ve never grown before. 🧅 🥬 🌈 🥕 . The hope is to grow 50% of my vegetables

Okay..might have left this Chioggia Beet in the ground a bit too long. It’s a monster, probably going to slice it up for pickling.

When you forget there’s a box of last year’s potato 🥔 harvest behind the bar …this happens. Wonder if they’ll grow and produce more given the fact that most of the potatoes are wilted after sending off sprouts.
