We’ve recently finished our production ready AMP-44R (except the lacquered k**b in the picture), and finally all our amplifiers are gathered here in California.
We are extremely proud what we’ve achieve with these amplifiers throughout the years, and we are now ready for our next developments - we know you’ve been waiting for our source components!

Inheriting our latest technical achievements and uncompromising designs from our other amplifiers: A trickled down version of the AMP-54R with a smaller form-factor, but now with the unique, and more refined headphone drive circuit from the HPA-23RMH.

Leaving Klangschloss, we reflect on the many times the musical experience in our room was able to move people in the most emotional of ways. The enlightened sound lets you see and feel the music in every dimension, and hear each note, timbre and decay within the music. The synergy with our friends at Soundkaos is unmistakable. Their new Vox5 is a fantastic speaker - and we were proud to launch our new AMP-44R together with them.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by - especially the two gentlemen who came knocking 15 minutes before the closing of the show yesterday. It was a joy to share the final moments with you.

Klangschloss is a very special event in every regard. Celebrating 20 years, Klangschloss has always featured live recordings being made. While waiting for the recording to be streamed, we were honoured to have the wonderful play live for us. Music as it should be - if not played through AMP-44R and the Soundkaos Vox5s. AMP-54R Class SA Operation:

The AMP-54R’s JET Bias circuit operates with a highly sophisticated algorithm that controls the output transistors and never let them turn off completely regardless of temperature, changes or load. As such, in traditional terms, one could call it “Class A”. 

But, as the algorithm tracks and adjusts the output bias in real time, it doesn’t let the circuit to operate at full capacity all the time - because that’s very inefficient. And therefore, in terms of efficiency, it’s closer to conventional “Class AB”.

So the AMP-54R runs like Class A, but with efficiency of Class AB - something we call “Class SA” for “Smart A” or “Super A”.
