Our next two supplier partners in our recap series both showcase technologies that help engineers solve demanding and microwave design challenges in aerospace, defense, communications, and space applications.
David Raymond from Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, and Tobias Hambach from RFMW are pictured in front of an impressive demo highlighting the temperature performance of the SpaceNXT™ K2TVA Thermopad® Series. Designed as a completely passive solution for gain compensation over temperature, the K2TVA series offers proven high-reliability heritage and is part of the SpaceNXT family of COTS+ products developed for critical space flight applications. With a compact footprint, low VSWR, tight attenuation tolerance, and multiple temperature compensation options, these devices are well suited for amplifier circuits, transmit/receive modules, satellite communications, systems, instrumentation, and frequency conversion applications across commercial and defense space platforms.
Steven Darrow from RFMW and Jim Ahne from Guerrilla RF Inc. are showcasing the GRF5847, one of Guerrilla RF's high-linearity power amplifier modules. Operating from 4.4 to 5.2 GHz, the device delivers 40 dB gain, 35.5 dBm saturated output power, and excellent linearity performance, making it ideal for demanding wireless infrastructure and communications applications. The broader family of amplifier modules offers high efficiency, outstanding EVM and ACLR performance, integrated 50-ohm matching, and digital shutdown functionality. As a leader in high-performance RF and microwave semiconductors, Guerrilla RF supports a wide range of applications including infrastructure, aerospace and defense systems, satellite communications, automotive connectivity, and enterprise wireless networks.
