Qorvo, Inc.'s QPC5430 is an ultra-wide band SOI 6-bit digital step attenuator (DSA). It operates over 0.02 to 30 GHz and provides 31.5 dB attenuation range with a LSB of 0.5 dB. It also achieves a low step error of less than 0.1 dB typical. The QPC5430 also offers multiple control options including parallel, SPI, or I2C as well as the ability to control multiple DSAs simultaneously using either addressing or daisy chaining.

The next two suppliers in our supplier spotlight series both demonstrate innovative semiconductor technologies designed to improve performance, efficiency, and system capability across a wide range of communications applications.

Thomas Eichhorst from CML Micro and Tobias Hambach from RFMW are pictured in the RFMW booth showcasing a selection of CML Micro products. This year's featured product was the CMX90A301, a 10W C-band power amplifier covering 4.4 to 5.0 GHz in a compact 5 x 5 mm QFN package. With RF ports matched to 50Ω, integrated DC blocking, and 55% power-added efficiency at P3dB, the device is well suited for MANET radios and C-band power amplifier stages. CML Micro's semiconductor and mixed-signal solutions help engineers accelerate development while optimizing power efficiency and design flexibility.

Steven Darrow from RFMW and Marten Seth from FinWave are shown in the Finwave booth demonstrating the capabilities of Finwave's breakthrough GaN-on-Silicon technology. Throughout IMS2026, Finwave showcased impressive demonstrations highlighting switch performance, including 85 dB isolation using the FW2001 SPDT switch and sub-30 ns switching speeds with the FW2009. Featured in the RFMW Top Product display was the FW2007 high-power SPDT switch, which operates from 30 MHz to 14 GHz while handling up to 50W of pulsed power. With fast switching performance, hot-switching capability, and an optional integrated driver and charge pump, the FW2007 demonstrates how Finwave's GaN-on-Silicon technology enables higher power handling, wider bandwidth, and improved efficiency for next-generation RF and 5G/6G systems.

The Marki Microwave, Inc. MFBA-00004BH MMIC bandpass filter is an ideal solution for small form factor, high rejection filtering. The MFBA-00004BH features a 8.51-12.11 GHz 1 dBc passband, 2.3 dB center frequency insertion loss and 23 dB return loss. Passive GaAs MMIC technology allows production of smaller filter constructions that replace larger form factor constructions. Tight fabrication tolerances allow for less unit to unit variation than traditional filter technologies. The MFBA-00004BH is available in a connectorized bullet housing.

A sincere thank you to our supplier partners, customers, industry colleagues, and the IMS organizers for a fantastic week in Boston. From valuable technical discussions and new product introductions to reconnecting with familiar faces and building new relationships, the show provided countless opportunities to collaborate and explore the latest innovations shaping the RF and microwave industry.

Mark Millhollin from RFMW and Diwakar Vishakhadatta from Qorvo, Inc. are showcasing the new QPF5012 transmit/receive module, launched this week at IMS2026. Covering 8.5 to 10.5 GHz, the module combines 10 W transmit capability with low-noise receive performance in a compact solution designed for communications, electronic warfare, and commercial and military radar applications. As a leader in innovative semiconductor technologies, Qorvo continues to address complex RF challenges across aerospace, defense, communications, and other high-growth markets.

John Darling from RFMW and Tim Brauner from Knowles Precision Devices are highlighting the P42BNL820M5ST Milli-Cap® Broadband Capacitor. Operating from 20 MHz to 50 GHz with just 0.2 dB typical loss across the band, this surface-mount solution behaves much like an ideal capacitor while preserving valuable board space. It's an excellent example of the advanced filtering, capacitor, and RF component technologies Knowles provides for demanding microwave designs.

Mark Bowyer, Sara Roik and Kimberly Bernetski from TTM Technologies, Inc., along with Nick John from RFMW, are featuring the newly launched XNGC20F2-30S virtually lossless SMT directional coupler. Designed and manufactured in the USA, this high-power coupler covers 1400 to 2700 MHz and delivers exceptionally low insertion loss of just 0.02 dB maximum, making it well suited for 5G, LTE, communications, test and measurement, and military-aerospace applications. Qorvo, Inc.'s QPA1722 is a high power, packaged K-Band MMIC amplifier fabricated using Qorvo's production 0.15 um GaN-on-SiC process (QGaN15). The QPA1722 targets the 17.7 – 20.2 GHz Satcom band while providing 5 Watts of linear power with third-order intermodulation distortion products of 25 dBc. Furthermore, QPA1722 can deliver output powers up to 10 Watts with 26 dB of small-signal gain and 35% power-added efficiency.

The innovation on display at continues at Booth 18054, where RFMW and our supplier partners are showcasing technologies designed to solve some of the industry's most demanding RF and microwave challenges.

Brandon Takaki from Menlo Micro and Don Onorato from RFMW are featuring the MM4250 Cryogenic RF Switch Module, one of our IMS2026 Top Product selections. This SP6T switch operates from DC to 10 GHz and is designed for cryogenic environments down to 10 mK, delivering high reliability with more than one billion switching operations. Its robust construction and performance make it an ideal solution for advanced quantum computing and cryogenic research applications.
