For Rural Funds Management, adopting autonomy is part of continually improving how the business runs.

Working with FormAtt Machinery and Bonsai, RFM has logged 1,200+ autonomous hours in its macadamia orchards on machines from Orchard Machinery Corporation - OMC powered by Bonsai Intelligence.

Bonsai navigates using what it sees, not relying solely on GPS, to reliably move between rows and beneath dense macadamia canopies. That capability is what makes autonomy practical in these orchards.

The goal: technology working alongside people, with one operator overseeing multiple jobs and spending more time on supervision and higher-level decisions.

Tyler joined TBPN to show Bonsai Intelligence running across a mixed fleet of OEM retrofits and our autonomous-first Amiga lineup, all powered by our foundation model and world model stack. We’re putting physical AI to work in rugged environments to reduce labor needs and lower capital and operating costs.

Today we’re introducing Bonsai World, a new simulation and world-modeling capability for rugged physical AI.

Starting with satellite imagery, Bonsai World creates 3D simulated environments where autonomous machines can operate before deployment, while generating new training data across locations, conditions and industries.

Grounded in 50M+ real-world samples and built with Google Cloud and NVIDIA accelerated computing, it helps reduce onsite bring-up and accelerate deployment into new environments.

Bonsai World is another step toward our goal of building intelligence that can scale across the rugged world.

It's incredible to see the Farm Robotics Challenge enter its fifth year.

We've been proud supporters from the very beginning, and it's been inspiring to watch it grow from a university competition into a global program that now includes universities, community colleges, and high schools.

Every year, the teams competing for the Amiga Innovation Award remind us why this challenge matters. They don't just build robots. They develop practical solutions to real problems facing growers in their own communities. From autonomous disease detection and precision spraying to robotic weeding and foliar feeding, these students continue to push the boundaries of what's possible.

Their creativity, technical talent, and passion never cease to amaze us.

We can't wait to see what this next generation of innovators creates for the 2027 Farm Robotics Challenge using the all-new Amiga Flex, powered by Bonsai Intelligence.

The 2026 Crop Robotics Landscape from The Mixing Bowl maps more than 400 companies worldwide and highlights several important shifts: increasing use of vision-led autonomy, growth in modular platforms, continued investment and greater consolidation across the industry.

The report also reinforces something we see every day: agriculture is where physical AI meets the real world. Success depends on more than a good model. It requires machines that can perceive, adapt and perform reliably in dust, changing light, uneven terrain and other demanding conditions.

Thanks Chris Taylor and Michael Rose for continuing to track how the industry is evolving. We’re proud to be recognized in helping move autonomy from promise to practice.

Throwback to a great demo day at Reservoir Farms in Salinas. 🚜

We’re excited to return and demo for three cohorts of growers and community leaders next Friday. They’ll see firsthand what the Amiga Max and Amiga Flex can do in strawberry operations, from autonomous spraying to hauling in step with the harvest crew.

Bringing our machines into the field and seeing that moment when growers realize what autonomy could make possible for their operations is one of the best parts of our jobs.
