Following up on last week's look at hybrid capacitors, TAIYO YUDEN has commercialized the new HVX (-K) and HTX (-K) series, delivering significantly improved capacitance characteristics over the previous HVX and HTX series. Rated up to 80V and 135°C, and AEC-Q200 qualified, the new series is designed for noise suppression and power smoothing in automotive power supply circuits for , powertrains, and electric power steering systems. The lineup spans 46 types across seven case sizes, with mass production now underway at TAIYO YUDEN's ELNA facilities in Fukushima and Aomori.
