On July 8, Genians CEO Dongbum Lee received the Order of Civil Merit from the government of the Republic of Korea. The medal is named after a pomegranate, and once you know why, the name could not fit better.

Genians received Korea's Order of Civil Merit. With 21 years of battle-tested technology and leadership, it proposes merging national defense and cybersecurity.

Cyber defense is now part of national defense strategy. Following its participation in South Korea’s Presidential Strategic Meeting on New National Security Initiatives, Genians outlined its view on the convergence of national security and cybersecurity.

At the meeting, Genians proposed the K-Defense and K-Security Export Package Model: a framework for integrating certified cyber defense technologies into major defense systems from the design phase, helping nations strengthen digital sovereignty across critical infrastructure and defense operations.

Since 2005, Genians has helped more than 5,000 organizations protect access, devices, endpoints, and operations across government, military, public sector, finance, manufacturing, and enterprise environments.

Cyber defense is moving from the server room to the strategy room.

Genians outlined its strategy for the security-defense convergence market following its invitation to the Republic of Korea's Presidential Strategic Meeting on New National Security Initiatives. The line between National Defense (안보) and Cybersecurity (보안) has officially vanished. Today, cybersecurity is the bedrock of national survival.

On June 26, 2026, Genians participated as a key industry leader in the "Future New National Security Strategy Meeting," chaired by the President of South Korea. Having protected over 5,000 global customers for 21 years as Korea's #1 NAC provider, we demonstrated our readiness to bridge commercial security and national sovereignty.

At this summit, Dong-Bum Lee, CEO of Genians, proposed a powerful paradigm shift to the President: The "K-Defense + K-Security" Export Package Model.
The vision is simple: When exporting physical defense assets like tanks or artillery, Korea’s battle-tested cybersecurity should be embedded from the design phase, or packaged with entire "National Cyber Operation Centers." This will supercharge traditional hardware defense with elite software resilience.
This strategic audacity is backed by Genians’ raw track record on the front lines.

Genians secures South Korea’s most critical government, military, and public sectors for over two decades. The proven security frameworks and real-world use cases we’ve built are already heavily utilized across industries, serving as a core asset to strengthen our global partners' security architecture.

Backed by the global trust of iconic "K-brands" like K-Pop, K-Security is steadily positioning itself as a highly reliable choice globally. Alongside the US and Israel, South Korea is a non-stop target for sophisticated nation-state hackers. K-Security was forged in the trenches of a live cyber warfare zone, deflecting real-time attacks day and night.

When security meets defense, the conversation shifts to Digital Sovereignty. We saw this starkly when the US government restricted foreign access to Anthropic's latest AI models, Fable and Mythos, over national security concerns. Advanced technology is the new geopolitical weapon.

This is why the K-Security package is a game-changer. It empowers importing nations to maintain their own digital sovereignty through localized, autonomous cyber resilience, rather than creating dependency on a foreign superpower.
While everyone chases shiny AI trends, the essence of security remains unchanged. What matters most is the massive volumes of real-world data, proven use cases, and the sheer "Grit" required to protect systems in a ruthless market. This uncompromised grit and raw battle data are Genians’ ultimate edge in the AI era.

This national summit marks a massive leap forward for the industry. Genians will ensure this new security-defense integration model becomes a global standard.

A heartfelt thank you to my fellow team Genians, our trusted clients, and global partners who make Genians what it is today. We look forward to taking on these bold new challenges and opportunities ahead together.

World Cup 2026 brings many countries onto one stage. On the field, they compete for a trophy. In cybersecurity, the trophy is trust, earned every day, across every network.

Genians collaborates with global customers and partners. Sharing 21 years of experience and technology built across 5,000+ customer environments, from SMEs to large enterprises, across various industries.

Earning and keeping that trust, every step of the way, by helping every device connect securely and stay compliant, from the moment it joins the network.

Different flags. Shared purpose. Growing together. Everyone wins. 🏆

Summer 2026. Every school IT team has the same checklist: network visibility, device inventory, patch management, access control. The same priorities, every year.

NAC solves all of it. Getting NAC to actually work is another story. Most teams have tried. Some hit a wall — 802.1X wouldn't scale, exceptions piled up, enforcement never turned on. Others priced it out and walked away. Either way, the project stayed on the whiteboard.

That's not a people problem. Legacy NAC was built for a different network.

Genians starts where your network actually is. No 802.1X dependency. No infrastructure changes. No battles between IT and Security teams. No budget headaches.

Already running Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC or Forescout? We've had that conversation many times. We'll tell you honestly whether switching makes sense.

21 years. One focus: NAC. 5,000+ customers worldwide.
This summer, let's do it right with Team Genians.

Every summer, school IT teams face the same checklist — network visibility, device inventory, patch management, access control. NAC solves all of it. Getting NAC to actually work is another story. For years, the NAC market focused on authentication, 802.1X, profiling, and integrations. Those still matter. But production asks a harder question: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴?

DNS fails.
Identity mappings drift.
Certificates expire.
Devices fall outside the expected control path.
Exceptions become permanent.
Integrations break quietly.

This is where NAC gets real. The question is no longer only: “Can it enforce policy?” It is also: “Can it keep operations safe when the environment fails around it?”

NAC is not dead. Fragile NAC should be.

Small businesses hit by DNS glitches, while ISE glitches out once more

Bringing 21 Years of NAC Ex*****on to India. 🇮🇳 It's a mature market. Customers know Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, Aruba ClearPass, Forescout, and others. Awareness was never the problem. The gap isn't awareness — it's ex*****on. Especially for BFSI, manufacturing, and critical infra.

But the practical question is changing: In the AI era, does Layer 2-based NAC become more important for closing the ex*****on gap?

And if yes, can it be delivered without the complexity and cost that keep enforcement out of reach? Directly, or through a partner.

Genians x Ras Infotech Limited will be in Bengaluru and Mumbai, May 19–23, to answer these questions.

The next chapter starts here — be part of it.

Genians visits India with RAS Infotech as its 21-year NAC success story continues into Bengaluru and Mumbai. From May 19–23, 2026, Genians will meet customers, partners, and security leaders to discuss practical NAC deployment, Zero Trust expansion, endpoint enforcement, and service-led growth opp...

AV-Comparatives 2026 EDR Detection Validation Test focuses on a question that matters after initial defenses are bypassed: can analysts understand and act on what happened?

In real SOC operations, detection alone is not enough. Analysts need clear alerts, investigative telemetry, correlation, incident reconstruction, and manageable alert behavior during benign administrative activity.

Genian Insights E was certified in this year’s evaluation, demonstrating investigation oriented visibility across the attack chain while maintaining controlled alert behavior in Signal-to-Noise scenarios.

We are proud to be included among the certified enterprise security solutions.

How clearly does your endpoint security actually communicate what it sees?

Our 2026 EDR Detection Validation Test evaluates exactly that. Nine enterprise solutions achieved certification by proving consistent visibility across a 14-stage APT scenario, with transparent distinction between immediate alerts and telemetry requiring investigation.

Cloudflare Zero Trust. If you’re using it or selling it, this question comes up fast: Our users are covered. But what about everything else on the network?

Factory equipment does not log in.
Cameras do not complete SAML.
Vendor laptops plug in before policy sees them.
Old devices sit quietly until someone finally asks who owns them.

These are devices that connect before anyone logs in. That is where device posture needs network access context.

It is not a configuration problem.
It is a layer problem.

protects the access path.
Genians protects the first connection, without forcing a disruptive network redesign.

Watch the video. We mapped the boundary, built four real deployment scenarios, and showed how Genian NAC adds Layer 2 visibility and device intelligence without replacing what Cloudflare already protects.

Cloudflare Zero Trust secures users, apps, and traffic. But every device that connects without logging in sits outside its design scope. Here's the layer th...

We often hear this. "I started with Genian NAC for asset inventory. Then I found IPAM, switch port mgt, wireless security, USB control, BYOD... I stopped calling it NAC."

"Then came 'Genian ZTNA' — except it wraps around NAC. Not exactly what the market means by ZTNA."

"EDR? Same story."

The names don't fit because the products don't fit the category. Never did. But here's what we keep noticing: the customers who get past the name don't leave. They go deeper. Every time.

Maybe that's the real story: our products outgrew their categories before most customers even realized it.

We're working on the naming. If you've used Genian NAC, what would YOU call it? Drop it in the comments. We're curious.
