Most studios make their biggest creative calls on instinct or internal opinion. That's a costly mistake.

Scopely does it differently. Heather De Bernardi, Director of Product, Growth, tests game directions and concepts early – before spending on UA.

On August 27, she's running a live workshop on how her team pre-qualifies game features, concepts, and app store creative with real players in her target audience.

You'll learn how to run your own player insights tests – and we'll even share free credits so you can get started immediately.

Learn what separates the studios that guess from the studios that test. 🎮

Most sellers optimize their main image backwards.

They start by testing creative — before they know what buyers actually care about.

Our CTR optimization playbook, built from what we've seen work for successful sellers, has four steps:

1. Gather audience preferences
2. Compare against your competition
3. Iterate based on the feedback
4. Validate against the same competitors

Step 1 is the one most people skip. Before testing anything, run an open-ended poll with your target audience. Selling a dog chew toy? Ask dog owners: "What are the most important features you look for when buying a chew toy?"

No creative, no options to pick from. Just open answers. Rank and sort the responses, and you have a clear list of what your audience values — independent of any design decisions.

That list becomes the foundation for every test that follows.

Real feedback, from real humans, real fast.

Here's how data-driven creative work can actually move the needle, according to Daniela Bolzmann of Mindful Goods.

Across Mindful Goods' clients, sales increases range from 20% to 2,500% (🔥) by elevating listing creative – and testing the designs with real shoppers before they launch.

One client (already an eight- figure Amazon seller who had hit a plateau) saw a 719% sales jump after refreshing their main images, product copy, secondary images, and A+ content.

Just better creative, backed by real consumer feedback.

If your listings haven't been updated in a while, the opportunity is likely bigger than you'd expect.

One seller almost launched a product that probably wasn't ever going to sell.

He needed to set their high-end toilet paper holder at a specific price in order to hit his margins.

But after running a pricing test with PickFu, he discovered customers wouldn't pay it.

That saved the seller an estimated $10,000 before he bought a single unit.

Test before you invest.

Wondering when your product image is truly ready to go live?

When one variation captures around 70% of the vote in a PickFu poll against real competitors, it's earned winner status.

But the smartest sellers don't stop there: they run another test, pitting their winning image against their top competitors.

That's how you prove real, measurable improvement over your baseline — not just a gut feeling.

You don't need to beat every competitor outright. Showing relative improvement in PickFu is what signals you're ready to gain market share on Amazon, Walmart, or wherever you sell.

Most sellers skip this step. The ones who don't pull ahead.

Not sure if your new main image is ready to replace the original? Here's the move.

Take your winning variant and test it directly against your current live image with PickFu.

In this example, the new variant won 53% of the vote — enough confidence to upload to Amazon.

And even if the result is closer than that, outperforming your original at all suggests a strong likelihood of success on the live platform.

After you make the switch, track your click-through rate. An increase there confirms the new image is doing its job.

Test before you swap 📈

07/09/2026

One $85 test led to $3,800 in extra revenue in two weeks.

That's the kind of ROI that gets our attention.

A seller used PickFu at the final stage of their creative process to validate a new Amazon main image before going live. The new image won the test 70/30 — a split that reliably points to higher click-through rates once it hits Amazon.

They made the swap, click-through rates rose 12.5%, and over the following two weeks, that lift in performance added up to $3,800 in additional revenue.
