How do you evaluate SRE Agents in a fair way?

Existing benchmarks run on demo apps that LLMs have already seen in training, rarely include clean code that doesn’t give away the answer, and usually support only one way of injecting faults. So we built a purpose-built benchmark harness: a live system with faults injected across 17 distinct scenarios.

Of 17 scenarios, PagerDuty’s SRE Agent had the highest average score of the agents we tested. It did that without its memory, call transcripts or topology mapping. We're also publishing our methodology and limitations so you can critique them.
