Welcome to RuMBA, the Rural Mobile and Broadband Alliance, a group of concerned rural residents, carriers, ISPs and mobile Internet corporations and individuals, working to ensure that rural communities, in unserved and underserved areas, have high-speed Internet access, and participate fully in today’s ever changing economic landscape. Let’s not allow Washington’s political quarrels to dictate what our neighbors in the rural communities need to improve their every day lives, to advance and fully participate in our country’s growth. RuMBA was launched to provide a single and significant voice to its members, individuals and corporations alike, to communicate a common vision to the marketplace, government entities - in charge of grants and loans for broadband, including disbursements post-Stimulus package of 2009, reflecting the needs of rural residents. RuMBA is also a proponent of the Next Generation Wireless Network Grid (NGWN).
